The Foundation
Shotec was founded as a private company in Germany and started its activities serving the Egyptian market by supplying technical equipment and consulting for the Chemical, Petrochemical, Oil and Gas industry in cooperation with a group of European principals including suppliers and manufacturers.
1997
The Network
Shotec Egypt has been founded and built a strong relationship with customers and earned the trust of its German suppliers and manufacturers.
2000
RuhRPumpen Egypt
Together with the EGPC “Egyptian General Petroleum Corporation”, Enppi, Petrojet and RuhRPumpen GmbH Shotec established the joint venture sister company “RuhRPumpen Egypt” for the production and service of API centrifugal pumps in Egypt with a share of 15 % from our SHOTEC GmbH Company in Germany.
We expanded our markets to cover water and waste water applications, fertilizers, steel industries, power generation, paper, paint, food industries as well as pharma and general Industries fields.
Consequently we increased our principals list to include several types of pumps, compressors, motors, couplings, mechanical seals, piping bulk materials, valves, complete process packages and process plants.
The Shareholding Company
Shotec S.A.E has been endorsed by the ministry of investment to become a shareholding company proving its stability and strong consistency in providing the Egyptian market with full cover and support for all projects from pre-tendering consulting, supplying, installation and full after sales services including its technical support.
Our activities have been extended to design and fabricate complete pump packages for different and complicated applications.
Market Expansion
Shotec entered the Gulf market with SHOTEC GULF.
2009
Increasing Services
Shotec established its own workshop, authorized service center and warehouse in 6th October City.
2013
ISO9001 & OHSAS18001
SHOTEC S.A.E has successfully obtained the quality management certification ISO9001 as well as the Health and Safety certificate OHSAS18001 covering the Supply of Design & Engineering for packages and systems as well as sales and after sales for engineering equipment including pumps, valves, piping, electrics and control.
